In 2018, Vivi turned to the El Refugio Community Center, in Florencio Varela, where she helped with masonry work, cooked, got donations, and publicized the activities.
With what she learned, in 2020, she decided to open a new space in her house making food on Sundays to deliver to the neighborhood. This is how the Comedor y Merendero La Nona was born, a name chosen by the children who attended.
“I wish I could do many more things, not only feed them but I have a project… to be able to teach them some carpentry or another profession for the future” says Vivi.
We are currently accompanying her to build the community center from scratch, leaving installed capacity in her neighborhood.
