Art auction: Children from vulnerable neighborhoods auction off their works in Recoleta

On Thursday, February 24th, a solidarity auction will be held for all the works of art created by 50 children from vulnerable neighborhoods in Tigre.

Art workshops are a program created by the Gestionar Esperanzas Foundation as a space for children between the ages of 8 and 12.

The objective is to provide them with tools to express themselves and project a broader and more inclusive future through culture.

Thanks to the contribution of Martín Saráchaga, the godfather of the entire project, more than 50 children participated in these workshops in 2021.

Their works are exhibited in the CUBO art gallery or virtually and will be auctioned off on Thursday, February 24th at 4 pm

The funds raised will be donated to the community organizations Gauchito and Centro Cultural Almirante Brown de Tigre, so that they can continue to offer art workshops that seek to provide children with a broader and more inclusive future through culture.

The exhibition and solidarity auction seek to value the effort, work, and learning carried out by the children and to expand the view of them, their families, and society since it is a unique opportunity to see the world through their eyes.

The works can be viewed until 5 pm today, and the auction will take place tomorrow at the CUBO gallery, located at Guido 1919 in Buenos Aires, or on Zoom at the indicated time.
