50 Children from Vulnerable Neighborhoods Auction Their Works at the Cubo de Art Gallery in Recoleta

This Thursday, February 24th, a solidarity auction of all the artworks created by 50 children from vulnerable neighborhoods in Tigre will take place.

The art workshops are a program of the Gestionar Esperanzas Foundation created as a space for children between 8 and 12 years old to find emotional support.

The objective is to provide them with tools to express themselves and project a broader and more inclusive future through culture.

Thanks to the contribution of Martin Saráchaga, godfather of the whole project, more than 50 children participated in the workshops in 2021.

Their works are exhibited in the CUBO art gallery or virtually and will be auctioned this Thursday, February 24th at 4pm.

The proceeds will be donated to the community organizations Gauchito and Centro Cultural Almirante Brown in Tigre, so that they can continue to offer the art workshops that seek to provide children with a broader and more inclusive future through culture.

The exhibition and solidarity auction seek to highlight the effort, work, and learning done by the children and expand their perspective, that of their families and society since it is a unique opportunity to see the world through their eyes.

Art is a powerful tool for transformation and inclusion; join the solidarity auction and let’s make a more inclusive future possible.

Exhibition: February 22nd and 23rd from 12pm to 5pm

Auction: February 24th at 4pm at CUBO Guido 1919 CABA or join on Zoom at the indicated time.
